geology, commitments, and desitin

Research day, but as it turns out I had committed to lead a geologic hiking tour today.  I thought it was scheduled for tomorrow, but I got the call last night at 5ish.  I couldn't take the call of course because Tilda was screaming at me, as she was mostly doing yesterday.  New parents of newborns less than 18 years old should not commit to anything unless its a pediatricians appointment.  Oh well.  At least it will be good to get out and hike around outside.  The only hiking I've been doing lately is hiking upstairs to get a fresh supply of butt wipes.  We had set the nursery upstairs (our bedroom is downstairs), but the girl has been living in our room, taking over the house as I imagine they all do.  After switching to the desitin yesterday I have to say, Tilda's diaper rash actually already looks a bit better.
