baby's first stroller walk
Tilda had her first non-family visitors today. Three weeks and a couple days and we've decided she would probably be alright with visitors. She slept almost all the way through it. She also had her first walk this morning and we learned that our typical stroller, stroller with car seat plunked into it, is not built for walking even around the block. These things seem to have been built for strolling through the mall, not the street/sidewalk. Because of this, I think we'll soon be shopping for a jogging stroller, though I'm not convinced that's what we need. I guess I mostly wonder why they don't make these strollers sturdier? And the tires are exactly where I would like to place my feet when I step. I think we've been real fortunate though to be in our early weeks of Tilda's life, new parents, new baby, and the olympics are under way. Such a great distraction for a couple weeks while we figure out sleeping, feedings, and burpings. But, there is such a thing as too much curling in one day. Our stroller would never make it down these bobsled runs.

sometimes you wonder if they put any thought at all into making these things, huh?
