snow strolling and burping

Took Tilda for another stroll this morning and this was baby's first stroll in the snow and she loved it.  At least that's how I interpret the sleeping.  I've struggled this weekend.  As a graduate student I like to get some research in on the weekends, but between doing errands and chores and now Tilda...research was not an option this weekend.  Which means I'm spending less time on research than I did before the birth.  This shouldn't be surprising.  I think its a matter of accepting the fact that I'm now a parent and I might take a few months to get back to as much research as I was getting done a few weeks ago.  This is why people with regular jobs get maternity leave.  On the upside, I am developing burping skills.  If only I could burp myself.
