Two teeth, make that two teeth. Tilda's two front teeth, bottom, are coming in. They've broken through the gum, or so it feels that way. What a great kid. We can't wait to take pictures of her with those little teeth.
Having recently lost my laptop to an airplane thief, I am in a graduate school limbo. Should I wait to see what the insurance will do? Do I just go buy a new computer? Do I wait 4-6 weeks to find out if it is in the airline's 'warehouse'...4-6 weeks? Sounds more like a 'where'?-house. Ughh. I do computery-climatey modeling sorts of things with calculations and what have you. Not a lot of sample running or field work, so my computer is integral to the completion of my dissertation. We have a pc desktop at home that operates very slowly and it does not have the software I need, but at least I can blog on it and write into a document on it. But, the research will not happen on this machine. I think I need a new machine. Too bad blogging does not actually pay. Alas, grad-student parents, living the dream. Tilda's teeth are a testament to the dream.
