nearly 3 months, dr dad, and the Iceland Eyjafjallajokull volcano satellite images

Tilda will be twelve weeks this week, 3 months next week.  She, her mom, and me, we all come to the university now on a daily basis.  Our days have gotten longer, coming in a little bit earlier and staying a little bit later as the weeks go by.  The spring semester is nearly over and it was a very busy and interesting one, but as semesters go, I can not say that I got less work done.  I'm busier.  I have less free time.  I get less sleep.  But, I'm a dad and sometime over the next few to several months I'll have a PhD as well.  A geek dad.  I'll share with Tilda my curiosity about nature and Earth processes, just yesterday she witnessed her first weather balloon launch, only my second anyway.  Regarding Earth, prior to Tilda, my wife and I had thought when we both were finished with our PhD's (in geology) that we would make a trip together and we figured Iceland would be appropriate, what with it sitting on the mid-Atlantic Ridge in all its converging plate boundary glory.  Now, we have a Tilda and Iceland is stirring about.  I've been keeping myself updated on the Eyjafjallajokull volcano eruption using the European Union meteorological satellite website.  Here's the link to their very cool images...http://oiswww.eumetsat.org/IPPS/html/MSG/RGB/DUST/WESTERNEUROPE/index.htm.
