publishing, sick Tilda, and jelly soaked bread

Stay at home dad day.  Well, st patricks is over, but there's still corned beef for hash.  I woke up feeling better than I had yesterday, but Tilda seems very under the weather.  She's not eating as much today and has gas.  I had a paper published today in a good science journal, but with Tilda feeling the way she does, the publication seems secondary and I suppose that is the way it should be.  Of course I may feel that way because I'm typing with one hand, my coffee cup keeps getting cold before I drink it, and the jelly soaked through the bread before I got a chance to eat my peanut butter and jelly sandwich.  It is hard to focus on the stable isotopic composition of subtropical water vapor when Tilda has gas that makes her turn red when she cries.  And we even forewent the cabbage yesterday to avoid gas.  She'll get better though, and she still smiles every time I change her diaper.
