la leche league, pipes and drums, and the hump
Spring break. Tilda's mom brought her to a 'la leche league' meeting this morning. I went to try and get some research done. Tilda had her first day at the pub yesterday listening to her daddy play with the pipes and drums. She was humming along with the music and loved it. She was awake most of the day yesterday as we ran a couple errands after the festivities, but it didn't stop her from her approximate wake-up calls in the middle of the night. Our little girl is still waking up about every 2 to 3 hours in the night for a diaper change and feeding and we're coming up on seven weeks this week. We're told we're approaching the other side of a hump but what does that mean? Maybe she'll sleep more through the evening? Maybe she'll be more awake during the day and not grumpy because of it? Stay tuned and I'll let you know once I get my rest and the poop off of my fingers.

We've been approaching the other side of the hump for close to a year now. I have blogged of sleep more than any other topic. Ever. We still wake every 2 hours or so at night, with a few longer stretches that come few and far between.
ReplyDeleteGlad you guys work together, though. And I think blogging helps. Kudos to you and momma for working so hard, and doing so great with your babe. LOVE her name, by the way. :)
Tilda is short for Matilda. I agree with you, I've found the blogging to be somewhat therapeutic. Thanks for commenting.
