She was due four days ago. They say first babies are not uncommonly tardy.
There are lists of names. There is the official list, the long multiple-column one with each of the sixty or so names considered over the past several months. Then there are the short lists, the ones we made to narrow our considerations and ultimately make ourselves feel better that we'd had a conversation and spent some time on it. So she has every right to be late, we haven't even finalized a name. Really? Who's being more stubborn here? I say, 'get out here 'Tilda' and she says, 'my name ain't 'Tilda, now settle on a name already'. All from a bunch of kicks in the morning. I hope the lines of communication are this open once she's on the outside?
